CHARACTER CREATION
- How To Make A Character section moved closer to the beginning. Immediately after the Introduction.
- Clarification and reformatting of Runic Careers. Moved from Runes Chapter to Character Creation chapter.
- Addition and clarification on Character Tiers subsection within the Character Creation chapter.
RUNES
- Staffs can only recreate specific Runes previously encountered before. Staffs are horizontal 1 Handed items that take up 1 Hand Slot and 1 Body slot.
- Relic’s now recharge on a Short Rest, instead of requiring a Long Rest.
- Runic Career’s final option altered. ‘Gain 2 SP OR 1 Fight Point’ option changed to ‘(Rune Type) Advantage’.
- Many Runes minorly reworded to clarify intent of mechanics
- Reformatted the Rune chapter opening page.
- Rune Item examples found in the extra page space alongside alongside specific Runes.
- Reformatted all individual Runes.
- Removed ‘Range, Duration:’ from Runes. Now it only lists the contextual limits, i.e. only ‘Self, Until combat ends’.
- Rune Stars placed alongside titles instead of above the titles.
- Reformatted Rune titles and Rune fonts.
- Reworded and clarified the Light Aftershock Rune
- ‘Effect: All Nearby creatures take (E) Lightning damage upon Casting this Rune. You are unable to Move until the start of your next Turn. All creatures within Nearby range of you next Turn take 1d6 damage and are Stunned.’
TRAITS
- Clarified ‘Stalwart Self’ and ‘Extend Courage’ Traits.
- (1) Stalwart Self: Reduce all Fear effects targeting you by 2 Turns, to a minimum effect of 1 Turn.
- (2) Extend Courage: Reduce all Fear effects of Adjacent allies by 1 Turn, to a minimum of 1 Turn.
- 1) Brisk Roll: As a Reaction, if you did not Move on your Turn in combat, once per Round you may safely Move 5 feet in a given direction.
- 1) Brisk Roll: If you did not Move during your most recent Turn in combat, once per Turn, as a Reaction, you may safely Move 5 ft in a given direction.
ARMOR
- Armor mechanics changed and reworded
- Garbs and Light Armor only take up the 1 Pack Slot in a person’s inventory, freeing up Body Slots.
- Medium Armor takes up 1 Body Slot, leaving 1 other Body Slot free.
- Heavy Armor is a 2 Load, vertical item, taking up both (2) Body Slots on a character.
WEAPONS
- The Staff no longer has the Useful Property. Now has Fast, Sentry and Sweep properties.
- Bear Traps only take up 1 Load and 1 Hand, instead of 2.
- All Throwing Weapons now have the Many property.
- ‘Many’ Property clarified. ‘Even while carrying ‘one’ Load unit of the item, it can be assumed multiples of the same item are being carried in that slot. As a result, a Player may employ the same item multiple times in combat, up to a total of (2 plus their relevant Skill).’ An example of this is a character with +2 Throwing may use up to four, (2 + 2), Throwing Knives within one item slot in a single combat.
BESTIARY
- Reformatting and rewording of this chapter’s opening pages for better clarity.
- Changing of the Bestiary Fight Point mechanics. Bestiary Fight Points may now be used more similarly to Player Fight Points as a counter-Strike function.
- Fight Points, for non-Player creatures, may be expended to roll an equal number of Strike attacks. Alternatively, they may expend available Fight Points to counter-Strike attacking targets, similar to the Player function of Fight Points.
REFEREE PRIMER + MODULES
- Modular Rules reformatted to be a part of the Referee Primer chapter.
- Guidance on starting at Tier 1.

Roadmap is up on the main page. Ranging from December to early April it lists a series of steps we will aim to provide in the coming months. Hopefully at B&B we will be ahead of schedule, and this time, we aren't slowing down!
Additionally, now with a couple of hot-patches we have uploaded the alternate and PDF character sheets.
